Momentum traders are truly a unique group of individuals. Unlike other traders or analysts who dissect a company's financial statements or chart patterns, a momentum trader is only concerned with stocks in the news. These stocks will be the high percentage and volume movers of the day.

I just got in, but the market moved very quick.

I closed the trade manually because the price was sticking in 1.316140 zone. In hindsight, I should have waited, because the price is dropping with some momentum.

Day trading is perhaps the most well known active-trading style. It's often considered a pseudonym for active trading itself. Day trading, as its name implies, is the method of buying and selling securities within the same day.
